Destination Wedding Photographer
Eimear & Rob’s incredible summer destination wedding in Chateau St. Julien l’Ars, France. Situated just outside the town of Poitiers, Chateau St. Julien is a truly incredible wedding venue, with parts of the existing grounds almost a thousand years old, the place is visually stunning and steeped in history.
Guests came from Newcastle, Dublin, Wexford, China, Australia, Malaysia and many other places that I don’t remember. There was a lot of laughter, occasional tears, loads of dancing, late night singing, hungover golf, arm wrestling, awesome food, incredible weather, mountains of booze, a hog roast and some fireworks!
Eimear & Rob
“We love Ryan’s work so much that we had two weddings for him to photograph! We had a legal ceremony in Ireland with just immediate family and then had the big party in France. I have to steal the ninja analogy from the other testimonials because he genuinely is. This was particularly evident at the first ceremony. With only 10 people in attendance, he still managed to be completely non-intrusive and get amazing candid shots of all the guests.
Ryan put together a slideshow of the ‘highlights’ from the day, which has made anyone who watches it smile, cry, laugh hysterically and any other emotion you can think of! No matter how many times we watch it, we still cry (well… Eimear cries). The photos capture all of the emotions on the emotional rollercoaster that is your wedding day. Looking at the photos makes us really feel like we’re back there, doing it all again. Ryan quotes his work as “all about natural moments”, and you can see from the photos this is exactly what he delivers; unposed, candid photos of you and your guests having the best time.
To summarise, for any couple out there looking for a wedding photographer: you will feel completely comfortable and at ease with Ryan, he will be everywhere he needs to be and you probably won’t notice him there, he will produce photos that will make you feel the emotions of the day and transport you back there to relive your wedding day over and over again. I’m not sure you could ask for anything more from a wedding photographer! We might just have to have a third wedding for you to photograph…….”
