Hello folks, I'm delighted to be able to share this Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa wedding with you. From the moment I spoke with Rosie on the phone about a year before the wedding, I knew it was a day to really look forward to. We had a quick chat about how to approach the day & were completely on the same page.

The Story

Like so many love stories, Rosie & Luke's journey together began with a piggyback! "One weekend we ended up on a night out together and had our first proper conversation. On the way back to a party at a friend's house, Luke had to give me a piggyback for the majority of the walk home!! And the rest is history.."

Luke proposed to Rosie on the beach, a place they both love as Rosie explains...

"on a regular Saturday afternoon walk on the beach Luke decided the time was right and he got down on one knee... It was simple yet so perfect for us as we both love the beach". Despite the insane wind, the beach in Inchydoney ended up playing a vital role on the day as it was our location for a quick couple shoot. Thankfully we got back to the reception with no casualties & some awesome photos.

Advice from the couple

"book the big and important things as early as you can so that you can just sit back and enjoy the build up from there.. I would also say not to get caught up in the finer details when they come around as they really aren't worth any stress. As long as you have the people you want there, it will be the best day of your lives.. and the finer details won't have any bearing on that!"
