Ferrycarrig Hotel Wedding
Ferrycarrig Hotel Wedding Photography
People often ask me do I get bored shooting the same venue so often, & the answer is always no. For me, its never about the venue, it's about the people involved. Though of course I do love working at the Ferrycarrig Hotel (the staff are second to none), my documentary approach means that I am not shooting every wedding exactly the same every time.
The Day
It was a beautiful summers day in July which started off in Laura's house for bridal prep, it was a lovely, relaxed morning with loads of laughs, some gifts & of course champagne. Then on to St. Michael's Church in Gorey, I'm guilty of a slight bias towards civil & spiritual ceremonies etc, but this church is simply stunning & I love working there whenever I get the chance. Shortly after the ceremony we made out way down to the Ferrycarrig with loads of time to enjoy the rest of the day.
The Couple
Laura & Michael put their complete trust in me & I can’t thank them enough. I work as a documentary wedding photographer & it’s a genuine pleasure to be able to capture weddings like this.
Here's a snippet of an email the couple...
"We’ve just had such a lovely night going through all the photos. We couldn’t be happier with them! :) Again, thank you so so much! Your work is just incredible and we are so delighted that we had you there to capture our special day. Memories to last a lifetime!" Laura & Michael
The couple were so kind to let me show off their wedding so take a look for yourself & get in touch if you're planning a wedding & interested in my documentary approach.
All the best
Ryan
